Erin V. Jacobsen, MA ATR-BC LCAT Licensed Creative Arts Therapist

RESUME
Art Therapy is a true passion of mine, and I find it humbling and an honor to witness the act of another making art and letting me into their visual world. I have experience with children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and group settings. My training has contributed to the development of my therapeutic style, which features elements from different theories and schools of thought. I do not subscribe to one method of treatment, but rather feel it is important to meet you where you are at, and develop treatment goals that meet your needs. While I am licensed in art therapy, I blend traditional talk therapy, play therapy, etc. into sessions when appropriate.
After receiving my masters degree in art therapy from New York University, I became nationally registered and board certified as an art therapist. I hold a License in Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT) in the state of New York. This page lists the varied clinical skills I possess and can integrate into your treatment.
